Sakara Life Manager, Ambassador & Partnerships Marketing in New York, New York

About the role: As the Manager of Ambassador and Partnerships Marketing at Sakara, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing innovative marketing strategies that build an influential network of advocates for Sakara Life to drive new client awareness and acquisition. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, managing and optimizing a community of Ambassadors and Partners – individuals and boutique businesses who can influence an audience, including, but not limited to: nano- and micro influencers, bloggers, fitness experts, health coaches, nutritionists, boutique hotels, spas, companies, KOLs, communities and networks, both online and offline. You will maintain relationships with our current partners while building a pipeline of diverse, new partners to help bring Sakara’s Partnerships program to new heights. The ideal candidate balances science and spirit – charisma and community-building with a relentless drive for growth and results. This new role is a highly cross-functional, full-funnel marketing role with the opportunity to make a significant impact on Sakara’s trajectory by expanding our reach and influence within our target audience.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ambassador Marketing: Identify, recruit, and manage a community of ambassadors to represent Sakara Life authentically and to contribute to product sales.

  • Identify target archetypes and micro communities. Recruit and source new Ambassadors across high-performing archetypes and micro communities.

  • Onboard new partners, setting them up for success in our affiliate platform and immersing them in the Sakara brand. Audit existing onboarding process and provide optimization recommendations.

  • Organize community-driven initiatives and campaigns to keep Ambassadors engaged and motivated to share Sakara.

  • Optimize existing program by fostering relationships, improving ways of working, and building workflows.

  • Partnerships: Identify, recruit and manage a partnership pipeline of key businesses as sales channels. 

  • Identify and prioritize potential luxury lifestyle partners including hotel, spa, sports clubs, cafes, and other tastemaker partners. 

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to build a robust pipeline of prospects, leveraging market research, networking, and industry insights.

  • Lead partnership negotiations, including contract terms, revenue share agreements, performance metrics while securing favorable outcomes for Sakara while maintaining strong partner relationships. 

  • Identify new opportunities for partnership expansion and innovation, continuously optimizing performance and ROI.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of partnership agreements.

  • Proactively manage ongoing communications with all accounts and partners.

  • Strategy: Establish Ambassador and Partnership goals and KPIs and develop strategies for hitting them. 

  • Budget Management: Effectively manage spend for ambassador marketing budget. 

  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics to measure the performance of ambassador marketing tactics. Ensure all initiatives meet established KPI goals. 

  • Community Feedback Collection: Act as a liaison between the community and internal teams, collecting and synthesizing feedback to inform product development, marketing strategies, and overall brand improvements.

  • Consistently bring forward new testing ideas for how to grow Sakara Life’s community of brand advocates through innovative marketing and messaging tactics. 

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development. Direct experience with affiliate marketing strategies or ambassador programs is a plus.

  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and executing strategic partnerships that drive business growth and generate revenue.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills; your communication style inspires confidence and creates trusting, cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Deep understanding of performance marketing, sales data and analytics.

  • Obsessed with growing Sakara through new business outreach and thoughtful management of existing relationships.

  • Culturally tapped in - you consider yourself a tastemaker and pride yourself on staying current on emerging trends.

  • Mastery of priority social, commerce and measurement platforms/tools, including Impact, Tribe, Google Analytics, and Shopify.

    This full-time role is based at our NYC Headquarters in Soho. We currently operate under a hybrid model where you will be required to work in person 3 days during the week.

The compensation salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
