NET Xperts LLC is seeking an experienced  Senior-level IT Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience to help manage and maintain networks, which include various hardware and software technologies. What Will You Do?

• You will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining clients' networks by troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise while providing constant access to a secure network that allows users to maximize their performance.
• You will set up, install, configure, and support all networked equipment to maximize network efficiency and security.
• You will create and implement network security measures and conduct regular performance tests.
• You will deal with escalated network support issues and mentor and delegate networking maintenance tasks to other members of the team.

• You will be required to participate in our on-call rotation approximately twice a year.

   

All work is dispatched from our Forest Hills office, and you may go to one, or as many as five clients within a day depending on the project but may return for multiple days until the work is complete. Please Note: Most clients are within a 50-mile radius of Pittsburgh, and we supply the use of a company vehicle, and you must have reliable transportation, in the event you start or end your day from the field. (Mileage/Parking reimbursement). 

Education And Experience

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required.
• Previous experience as a networking engineer is highly regarded.
• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on technical experience including installing, servicing, and troubleshooting the corporate community post-graduation.
• Must have certification(s) from any of the following: Microsoft, Cisco, Symantec, VMware, and HP. Must be able to maintain existing and earn new certifications, as part of the ongoing job requirements.

• Must have experience working with network infrastructure devices and protocols, and a proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain solutions supporting high-availability network infrastructures.

The ideal candidate for the Senior-level IT Engineer position will have the above technical skills and experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment; the ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers; excellent organizational skills, advanced project management skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail; the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively; strong work ethic and professional etiquette.

Miscellaneous: 

• Work week, Monday -- Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Overtime/weekends as needed).
• Must have a current and valid driver's license.

Benefits

• Excellent Pay - $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
