Our client, a leading technology company in the electronics industry, is seeking a Contract Hardware Engineer Mid to join their team. As a Contract Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Design for Test (DFT) team, supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for solving complex problems.

Location: Plymouth, MN

What's the Job?

• Develop timing constraints to ensure circuit performance

• Conduct code synthesis and test insertion using industry-standard tools

• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation

• Mentor junior engineers and share your expertise

What's Needed?

• 8 years of experience in ASIC development and deployment

• Solid understanding of ASIC concepts and design principles

• Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams

• Background in BIST, DFT, physical synthesis, static timing analysis, and/or power analysis (a plus)

• Proficiency with Synopsys tools (Design Compiler, PrimeTime, DFT Compiler)

• In-depth knowledge of logic synthesis, functional verification, and constraint application

• Strong foundation in Linux and scripting languages

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and data organization skills
