Logoplaste USA, Inc., Rome, NY seeks process Technicians - Providing training on Logoplaste’s proprietary production equipment, including its highly advanced blowing process (SBM) as it relates to plastics production injection molding, plastics production and plastics accumulation machines. Set technical parameters, managing pilot mold qualifications and approvals and develop and implement standardized technical support tools, security measures and processes to ensure uniformity and full integration with Logoplaste’s proprietary production and plastics accumulation equipment and related tools, and the ability to streamline different manufacturing processes and workflows. Design training materials to expand the available skill sets, improve execution and results, and increase the overall productivity and profitability of the staff and lead on-going manufacturing and process control, auditing and testing improvement projects, utilizing SBM and injection molding principles to enhance the efficiency and productivity of production process. Will be responsible for ensuring that the team is well trained to optimize operations and enhance quality assurance and to perform specific machine operation and mold changes. Ensure all employees receive regular safety training, wear their Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) and safety equipment in accordance with the safety training program. Assessing the current organization of Logoplaste Syracuse’s production facility and assist in the development of the required manufacturing processes, maintenance procedures, training and quality assurance programs to optimize production and ensure conformance and uniformity with Logoplaste’s established production methodologies. Provide specialized expertise on blow molding to improve Logoplaste Syracuse’s projects, utilizing scientific injection molding principles to enhance the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing operations and use of software technologies, including SBM simulator, to ensure the precision, technical specification and highest quality standards in the production process. Interact and coordinate with technical and production personnel in order to guarantee optimized planning of jobs and execution of all maintenance tasks within process management. Develop production line requirements and specifications for new products to be manufactured and ensuring control testing activities align with software and tools while applying and utilizing knowledge of Logoplaste’s proprietary software technologies to ensure the precision, technical specification and highest quality standards in the manufacturing process of Logoplaste Syracuse’s production facility. Utilize Logoplaste’s unique fault-finding measuring systems to analyze and monitor equipment break downs and make recommendations to minimize down cycles. Act as a mentor and share his advanced knowledge and provide training to technical and production personnel on Logoplaste’s proprietary tools, plastics technology, injection blow molding methodologies, and production processes. Utilizing technical expertise to ensure that each production lifecycle is efficiently executed in accordance with the Logoplaste’s Group’s design specifications and technical parameters, as well as schedules and quality standards. Responsible for achieving maximum production efficiency on all scheduled machines by monitoring production floor efficiencies, machine processes and ensure any changes are justified, properly recorded and make necessary adjustments to meet and exceed Overall Equipment Effectiveness (“OEE”) standards. Ensuring technical product quality expectations are met and that business requirements can be incorporated into Logoplaste’s unique manufacturing processes and procedures to include conducting internal quality systems and process control audits and determining and investigating root cause and corrective actions and measuring results for successful delivery of Customer projects. Provide education and training on such proprietary equipment, tools and production processes to other employees at Logoplaste USA. Responsible for maintaining quality product by assuring all employees are completing quality checks and product is within Quality Assurance specifications to include performing the full scope of mold changes, color changes, new mold and resin qualifications in order to switch between the products and materials in a timely manner, pass quality release and maximize first pass yield with cost efficiency. Support the quality assurance and interpretation of defects and their root cause and participate in the design and preparation of training manuals and perform equipment start-ups with quality and process audits of finished product to validate high quality products are being molded with minimum scrap being made.Requires Two (2) experience in Job Offered or related. Experience must have included Working with blowing process (SBM) as it relates to injection molding and plastics production; Use of software technologies, including SBM simulator, to ensure the precision, technical specification and highest quality standards in the production process; Developing production line requirements and specifications for new products to be manufactured and ensuring control testing activities align with software and tools; Leading on-going manufacturing and process control, auditing and testing improvement projects, utilizing SBM and injection molding principles to enhance the efficiency and productivity of production process; Setting technical parameters, managing pilot mold qualifications and approvals, conducting internal quality systems and process control audits and determining and investigating root cause and corrective actions and measuring results for successful delivery of Customer projects; Performing equipment start-ups with quality and process audits of finished product to validate high quality products are being molded with minimum scrap being made; Performing the full scope of mold changes, color changes, new mold and resin qualifications in order to switch between the products and materials in a timely manner, pass quality release and maximize first pass yield with cost efficiency; Work with maintenance personnel in order to develop periodic maintenance plan and identify and take corrective actions on issues and or breakdowns to include repairing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues on plant equipment including PLC systems; Training employees to perform specific machine operation and mold changes and develop process and utility control sheets to validate the consistency of production process; and Managing the production floor concerning personnel, equipment performance, finished goods and quality metrics in extrusion blow molding and injection molding areas.

Minimum Salary: 60000.00 Maximum Salary: 840000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
