Fire Extinguisher Technician

This position reports to the Suppression Manager. The Technician will be responsible for performing inspections, sales, and servicing of a variety of fire protection components including fire extinguishers, emergency and exit lights and other fire protection equipment in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.

Job Responsibilities

· Manage their time to complete the maximum amount of service calls while maintaining a high level of quality customer service.

· Achieve all weekly productivity goals assigned by the Suppression Manager.

· Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain any licensing and certification required by State and Local codes.

· Maintain company vehicle in accordance with company policy.

Job Requirements

· The ability to learn applicable inspection and service procedures.

· A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

· Excellent communications, and customer service skills.

· Professional Appearance

· Strong work ethics and Self Motivator

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
