G.E. Mechanical LLC is a leading full-service mechanical contractor, headquartered in Vineland, NJ and serving all of Southern New Jersey. Family operated since 1984, G.E. Mechanical has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial, industrial and residential customers.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Shop Technician is responsible for warehouse/yard organization and upkeep, equipment and material in-flows and out-flows, as well as general equipment troubleshooting and repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and label material deliveries. Stage in appropriate areas

• Maintain the cleanliness of warehouse, yard and building grounds

• Pick up parts and equipment from suppliers & deliver parts to jobs as necessary

• Mobilize equipment and materials for scheduled jobs

• Perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment

• Ability to drive truck and trailers to customer locations

• Performs additional duties and responsibilities to help facilitate company operations

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  Education/Experience:

  Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and able to lift 50+ pounds

  Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience

• Basic tool and equipment knowledge, use and skills

• General mechanical abilities

• Auto maintenance mechanic experience

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Verbal & written communication skills

• Attention to detail and organization
